WHO WE ARE
Community Ministries was started when two Churches of the same Kingdom heart and vision, Abundant Life Church and Zoe Church, joined hands in 1999 to serve Muldersdrift, Gauteng, South Africa and across the globe. The Ministry was planted with a deep desire to build strong communities everywhere as we serve our King.
We believe in developing and releasing innovative, kingdom-focused disciples who convey the Gospel through their personal relationships and in their varied spheres of influence, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods.
Since 1999, our community has truly felt the love and impact of this Ministry. As Community Ministries, we believe God demonstrated His love by freely giving up heaven’s best, His only Son Jesus, for you and me. We are a growing family who believe God has called us to demonstrate His love so that His Kingdom would be evident on earth as it is in heaven. We receive our Father’s love and grace and no matter who you are or where you come from, there is always a place for you in our family. Jesus is building us together as His Church!

We CONNECT to Jesus, His church, and His purpose of extending His Kingdom.

We SERVE passionately, strategically, and consistently, believing Jesus is the hope of the world and He calls us to be His Heart, Hands and Feet. So that His Kingdom might be established on earth as it is in heaven.

We ENGAGE our Community and World By going, showing and sharing the Good News of the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Core values can be thought of as the characteristics that shape our culture. These are the values that will be talked about often among our team in the Community Ministries family. We CARE about our Communities, we PARTNER with one another as Gods Kingdom is extended and we trust the Lord for the TRANSFORMATION of society for His Glory.

Our family should not be recognized because they we look the same, but because we have the same heart (DNA). We hold to the same Kingdom values. We always build from relationship to structure, rather than structure to relationship, we embrace the following values:

We align ourselves with Gods Word and with one another as God confirms His Word through signs and wonders.

We live Christ-centred lives, expressing the Lordship of Christ in every sphere of influence

OUR BELIEFS
We Believe
We believe in one God, who exists in three Persons — the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is loving, holy and just.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired and accurate. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life.
We believe that sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.
We believe that salvation is the gift of God to man. This gift is effected by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it produces works pleasing to God.
We believe that water baptism is an outward act that demonstrates a believer's identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.
We believe that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.
We believe that God wants to transform, heal and prosper us, so that we can live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others.
We believe that we are called to preach the gospel to all nations.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again just as He promised.
